The Association of Women in Trade and Agriculture (AWITA) is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) founded by Nigerian Women in Trade and Agriculture to harness the rich population of Women in Trade, Agriculture and related Supply Chain. AWITA is poised to promoting Women Economic Empowerment, Gender Equality, advocacy and Positive impact through strategic trade and agricultural engagements.
AWITA activities are designed to strengthen the capacity of women and help them reach their full potentials in line with AWITA objectives by providing access to the necessary knowledge, technology and inclusive sustainable development of the women population.
Promote and accelerate womensocio-economic , political empowerment and participation that impacts on gender development of trade.
Promote and actualize inclusive socio-economic engagement of women through mobilization, sensitization, capacity development and financial support.
We envision a society where all gender are socially and economically independent individuals living in dignity globally.
